By Air:
There are many airlines from all over Europe with
direct flights to Split and Dubrovnik.
By Boat:
As an alternative to the Croatian freeway there is
always the ferry line. 'Jadrolinjja' is based in Rijeka
but offers an assortment of crossings like:
Rijeka - Split - Korcula
Ancona -Split
Split-Vela Luka (delivers you to the island on
the same day)
Dubrovnik-Korcula
By Road:
A few months ago a new freeway was opened from
Rijeka/ Zagreb to Split. Now, it takes only a few
hours from Northern Croatia to the port of Split.
In the summer time it may be worth travelling at night
to avoid traffic jams.
From Split drive South to Orebic and from
Dubrovnik North to Orebic. Both highways will take
you along the coast. It is a very scenic drive.
Once in Orebic you will take a ferry across to the
Island of Korcula. (During the summer months there
is a long wait for the ferry, so check the schedule for
the last ferry)
From the ferry, follow the only road out from the ferry.
At the first intersection (there are no stop lights),
turn left, following the signs to Lumbarda - you will
travel through Sv. Antun - approximately 3km later
you will enter Lumbarda (you will see a yellow sign).
Very soon after you will see a bus stop on your left,
(a sign reading Javic on your right) contine past the
bus stop and we are the first house on the left!
Welcome to Milina Vacation Rental Properties!
If you arrive in Vela Luka or Korcula, follow the signs
to Lumbarda and turn right at the above intersection,
the balance of the directions are the same.
If you are not driving, let us know and we will make
arrangements to pick you up at the Boat in Korcula,
or the Ferry.
